This episode is dominated by trios and quartets. Making her One Man's Jazz debut is English saxophonist Josephine Davies and her trio Satori with a pair of tracks from In the Corner of Clouds, while bassist Michael Formanek, no stranger to this show, debuts a new quartet with Kris Davis, Ches Smith and Tony Malaby. His Time Like This will no doubt show up on several best-of lists. There's also music from artists from Driff Records, trumpeter Russ Johnson's new Headlands, and plenty more from around the globe.
