Double bass player, composer, conductor Creator of ParmaFrontiere Orchestra. He’s always been working on the developement of a composition/improvisation concept and on a very original music which is really in between different genres. He took part, playing solo or in ensemble, at many Jazz Festival in Europe, Canada, Mexico, China, Africa, Turkey, USA, South Africa. Professor of Jazz Composition at the Conservatorio Boito in Parma (Italy) Artistic director of the ParmaJazz Frontiere festival Recorded for ECM, Splasch Records, MM Records, ParmaFrontiere, Nueva, CAM, Giulia.
